Shaki by nature. The plate of food in the image below shows shaki (cow tripe) in all its glory. Nigerians particularly those from the south-western part of the country love to eat this meaty delicacy so much as it is an important member of the fleshy pantheon referred to as orisirisi. Which also features star members such as brokortor and roundabout. Curiously, there is also a town in Northern Oyo state called Shaki town. Now the big question is, are Shaki town and Shaki meat-parts related or connected by anything other than coincidence?
