Every time, I listen to this, I repeatedly end up listening to the Tamil song, vaanam vasappadume composed by the late music director, Mahesh Mahadevan in 2004. Vaanam Vasappadum was Indias first digital movie shot in high-definition. The digitally enhanced visuals with eye-filling rich colors was very fresh and exciting to me then & I still love it. The story was by Sujatha, direction by P. C. Sreeram and it had a few big names in the movie along with two new actors in lead roles. I liked the hero Karthik Kumar. Un(fortunately), he couldnt stay successful enough in the mainstream commercial movies. The lead actress Poongkothai who hails from a very notable political family of Jaffna, Srilanka was a total disappointment.
