Shakkar pare Ingredients 1 cup sugar, 1cup warm milk, 1/2 cup hot ghee, 3 cup (500 gm)all purpose flour(maida) flour, oil for deep-frying Method Combine the warm milk and sugar in a deep pan, mix well till the sugar dissolves, while stirring occasionally. Take a bowl add all purpose flour ( maida), hot ghee Add the milk-sugar mixture a little at a time and knead into a firm dough. Dough should be not hard and not tight medium. Make big balls from dough. Roll out a portion into medium thick circle.Cut it into small diamond shaped pieces. Heat some oil in a deep fry pan or kadai and deep fry the shakkar paras, a few at a time on a medium flame till they are golden brown in colour from both the sides. Remove in a plate. Hare Krishna.
