Shalom and Hello Everyone, if you hold in your heart a negative thought about someone based on hearsay, you are bearing false witness against your neighbor in your own mind. It needs to stop there lest you also bear false witness privately with others or more publicly. If you hear a rumor about someone, speak to them first and try to diligently understand the matter first hand. Be an eye witness. If you cannot do so, cease to entertain false witness in your own heart and think well of your neighbor. This is Torah. Torah is righteousness. Torah is peace. Torah is love. Act this way and you are loving your neighbor. You are doing justly. You are preventing evil from manifesting. My thoughts. Yakov Levi
