Shame on Poarch Creek Band of Creek Indians: The leaders or government of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians ought to be ashamed of themselves. I will never darken the door way of their casino in Wetumpka, Al. It is on desecrated Holy ground. I read the list of laws, rules, regs, etc, that they broke wen they did what they did, and have read other things and been told by other Creek Indians, that against the Poarch Creek Band of Creeks signed word and promise to the Alabama and U.S. Governments promising not to desecrate the holy ground there or bother the remains of like 60 Creek Indians buried there, the Poarch Creek Band broke their word and did so, dug up the graves and remains and had them reburied or stored in sheds without proper religious ceremony, without consulting the Oklahoma Creeks, whose land and ancestors that was, etc, etc, and built that casino on the spot. And those graves, those ancestors, that land, belonged to Creeks in Oklahoma, the Poarch Band has no family ties to it. What a shame and what a story of greed and exploitation.
