Shame on Rajdeep Sardesai & Sagarika Ghosh. This really goes to show how low a person can go for personal gains. All said and done. Mr. Modi is the current elected Prime Minister, chosen by Indias first-past-the-post system. And as PM, and one who represents a billion plus Indians, we have to respect. Respect to PM, is respect to the Chair, the PMs moral standing, Our Political Class, our leadership, our Democracy, our Culture & the institutions that have kept India united and together and helped it progress thus far !! By denigrating the PM, Rajdeep has maligned our thus far impartial & independent media. God forbid, any politician sees this as an affront to him or his class, the first reaction would be to stem the freedom of the press, which will have high repercussions on the Indian Democracy. The last thing we need is state-controlled media.... Look at whats happening in China, viz., Hong Kongs call for democracy. The outer world does not even have an inkling of an idea of the massive uprisings and domestic unrest happening there. Really bad !! Really bad !! We have to rise up unitedly against crony reporting & paid media. An independent press, enjoying complete freedom, and absolutely impartial is what is required !!
