But, another question begs to be asked...Why is it that the benefit for welfare (even for poor people) seems to exceed that of the working man or woman. Forget the rich part...how exactly does one get $60,000 in public assistance money...even if you are poor? Or a benefit of almost $24,000 a year? I am all for helping the poor who cannot help themselves. I have participated in that activity...and will continue.
