Shannon Airport staff embarked on a 175km cycle on Saturday raising €14,000 euro for charity. The group set off at 8a.m., from King John’s Castle in Limerick for a route that took them all the way to the Cliffs of Moher before finishing back at Shannon Airport itself. The money raised will be going to Neonatal Unit at the Regional Maternity Hospital, the Samaritans and the Clare branch of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society of Ireland. Well done to all the staff that took part and the 12 non airport staff who also completed the cycle. Also a Thank you to the event organisers Michael Linnane & Diarmuid Cullinan, support from An Garda Siochana and our own vehicle/safety support team.
