Here is his explanation: Sung beautifully as always Rachael Leahcar, but for some reason, and Im probably totally wrong, but this just feels to me like someone calling for a loved who has either passed away, or is very ill, not to go or to come back to them... just the feeling I get from the lyrics and the clip (particularly the final scene on the beach). You werent totally wrong Shannon because this is my explanation: The majority of the video shows a girl who recently started to fall for someone after a long time being alone. The person then passes away before they could start their lives together and she wishes for him to return. She begins to hallucinate, preferring this to reality and envisions him with her. But as the end of the video shows, hes not really there. Close enough! The next cover song Im doing for a Youtube video is... ADDICTED TO YOU by Avicii! And I have something VERY unexpected planned... sit tight and stay tuned ;)
