Shannon L. Moran, 43, of Cocoa passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Wuesthoff Hospice House in Rockledge, FL following a brief illness. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan he was a resident of Cocoa for the past 9 years coming from Green Cove Springs and was a former resident of Putnam County. He was a 1988 graduate of Palatka High School and he attended the former St. Johns River Community College. While living in Palatka he enjoyed bowling with the Palatka Bowling League. He was a great husband and provider. He enjoyed playing basketball and video games with his children. He was preceded in death by his father, William Max Register. Survivors include his wife of 19 and ½ years, Kathy Sue Moran of Cocoa; his mother, Mary Register of Palatka; two sons, Kody Wright of Cocoa and Chance Moran of Cocoa; four daughters and a son-in-law, Kari and Max Estimable of Lakenheath, England, Nichole Hanson of Portsmouth, VA, Jennifer Moran of Cocoa, and Morgan Moran of Cocoa; four brothers, Glen Moran of Palatka, Quin Moran of Georgia, Bruce Register of Palatka, and Rusty Register of Bardin; one sister, Dawn Register of Bardin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Masters Funeral Home of Palatka. The Funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Mike Corbitt officiating. Burial will follow in Etoniah Cemetery in Bardin. His wife Kathy says it would be Shannon’s wish that everyone dress causal, jeans are o.k. and she asks that everyone honor his wish.
