That will give us a huge boost in missed sales last week. Corn is $3 a dozen....today is the last day at that price!!!! Its dark green and totally wicked corn.We have over 60 items here from yams oranges to those lemon cucumbers and all the many varieties of NON GMO pesticide free stuff without the organic prices. Sundays a fun day for me..I can work on more dreams as there are very few people here. Trying to see how we can increase the 600 students booked for the pumpkin patch (Thank You)...wagon ride event starting Monday to the needed 2000. Penster is working hard at it and we will have a flyer on facebook really soon.....explaining details...basically for $6 your kids get a wagon ride...pick potatoes...some background to the farm...get a free pumpkin from the field and back to the farm and farm market. I will give them some potatoes as well. It shouldnt cost more than the pumpkin and potatoes at any retail location and yes Im going to make it fun for them! No I dont whack people in the head with the Bible as they pull in...lol..not my place or the farms place to preach my personal beliefs....Yes we have peaches..yes we are doing the skate rink if it freezes and its going to be better...yes wagon rides are available starting next weekend on the hour departure starting at 11 am to 5 pm for the general public. We have 20,000 pumpkins so we need thousands of people here please. If you think your purchase does not make a difference well...yes it does....right now we are struggling to get through a tough year with the flood in May and extra expenses yet to be paid. For those who think Im rich...lol...I live under the poverty level....less than anyone on disability or ei and choose to fight out of it the hard way. No I dont own the house next door..lol I live in a basement....6 months behind in rent.....and I drive a donated pickup truck ( Thanks Derrick) and yes I have a second one as well which I paid $400 for. I dont expect any donations for myself...just to the project so standby all those who want to help. We run donations and ideas by a small group of dedicated regular volunteers here and we make decisions fast and on the fly ......We turn seed into plants..into food . The retail hopefully will pay for it all. Simple uncomplicated plan....the more volunteers we get....the cheaper the food. I know that some people think Im going to fail with this model but I wont. My zero Admin and zero profit off the backs of hungry people will prevail and yes it pisses off a lot of people who feel threatened by the farms growth....which will eventually turn into much more than a farm...perhaps Surreys first Help Center....We will find our way and Yes I choose to run on the fly and yes some think its Mickey Mouse....given away 380,000 lbs. in the last three years.....now at 5 farms.....70 acres...it might be Mickey Mouse but at least I get to live in Disney Land Every day..lol Come shop...help me ....Im here ...16582-40th avenue surrey bc earth. we are open till 6pm starting......NOW!
