Parents in VA of 4 children adopted from Ukraine, 2 with special needs, are seeking a lawyer willing to take on their case with the school system on a contingent basis. Complaints include ESL services not being adequately or appropriately provided, non-compliance issues with IEPs (one that resulted in an injury), federal law not followed for requests of evaluations of special needs children, failure to distribute ESL materials and plans to teachers, lack of adequate communication with parents or outright lies, and the list goes on. Things have been extremely well documented.
