Shared for Bahrain Beachcombers: This Friday 10th Oct 2014 BEACH CLEAN!!! Location : Area just before Nurana Island ( see map). Time: 9am till 11am ( approx) What to bring: Friends and family, enthusiasm, hat and water bottle, swimmers if you want to go for a swim. What we will provide : Garbage bags, disposable gloves and a bottle of water with enthusiasm. What you will need to do: Sign a Liability Waiver form and pick up garbage and supervise your own children. What you will leave : The garbage you have collected and only your foot prints. What we DONT want you to pick up : 1. Broken glass... ( they tear the plastic bags) 2. Wood 3. Dead sea life 4. Food items 5. Metal that will rip the bags What we want you to pick up: Plastic , plastic , plastic ( especially the blue tops of the water bottles ) , cans , bottles that are not broken, fishing line and floats that holds nets up that have washed ashore. Directions: Easiest way is take the Country Club exit off the Budayia Hwy, turn right at the end of that street and first left AFTER ( NOT BEFORE) the big yellow and orange house on the right. Little dirt road will lead you to the area...drive then down towards the beach..there you will see my BIG white car..e and sign in and off ya go!
