Russia and Bolivia (I believe) have stopped importing corn from the U.S. Research has shown that diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, fatty tumors, and other food related diseases are tightly linked to GMO consumption, however just like cigarettes, there cannot be a definite answer on the matter due to the other factors leading to said diseases. This is how corporations get away with not having to label the food which we consume. The problem is "we are no longer eating food. We are eating food like products." My rule of thumb is if I do not recognize the ingredients, or cannot pronounce them, then I do not eat it. Thank you for the article. I hate that this goes on in our world. But at least we are taking steps to prevent it. Well, at least the rest of the world is. -___-
