Sharing New Traditions for the Holidays with Family, Nurturing our Environment, Within to Without :-) As I was focusing spiritual prayers out with All, communing with nature over the past several minutes, another image srongly came to me, with response to the celebration of Christmas and alternative ideas for a Christmas Tree. Obtain small potted Christmas trees, you know the ones that are often sold at the supermarkets around this time. You can take several of those trees, depending on your finances, tier hem, so that they visually form the shape of a larger tree. With your children. family, and friends, each tree can represent a loved one, or something special to each individual. After carefully adorning them, when the celebration is over, nurture that love throughout the season, until the spring. With your family, friends, together or individually, plant each in a place that is in need of nurturing, perhaps in your neighborhood, backyard or, somewhere meaningful to you. :-) Always remembering that plants are living, breathing and communicating, as well as nurturing. They are feeding us wisdom and sustenance with every breath as well as through the pages of our soul. We only need be still and feel.
