Sharing Thoughts on who I am: This morning, as the sun is shinning, the weather is nippy, the television reminds me the wonderful holidays are coming - it makes me think of who I am. Who I want to be when I grow up..... :) I have been tested lately on who I want to be in the face of some pretty challenging people. People who are rude to the point of being mean, look upon me and my staff as servants to be talked to in ways I bet they dont talk to their dogs... The results from the test? I still managed to try to put myself in their shoes, what is going on in their life that would make them be so mean to a total stranger providing you with something beautiful. A willing heart and a friendly smile, even when you are so trying. Glad to say, not only did I stay the course and try to be understanding, but my entire staff shouldered the weight of these peoples poor manners and ill tempers. We came out the same people we were when we went in. To those of you who feel you may be ugly, overly demanding, harsh, rude and just down right mean spirited, please take a minute to ask yourself if your poor behavior is really motivating us to work hard for you for that $29. Today? Be kind to each other- somewhere someone is just trying to make a living and trying to have a nice day. PEACE everyone - :) Stay the course!
