Sharing a few thoughts before going to bed. I have Matt heavy on my heart. His mind is a bigger battlefield now. But as always he faces Goliath with amazing courage. Matts soul and heart go much deeper than his disease and dementia. He never fails to express a deep love for us and God. School will start tomorrow and I am so ready to challenge him. God has already shown up big to give Matt a great start. Were getting our old school bus driver Lori back ( she is one special lady). An old friend- Lenso - will be going to school with him again. We have also gained a great caretaker. This guy really goes beyond his job and I think well be able to work together to really give Matt an extra boost. God has made it clear to my heart tonight to not just look at this life but to look beyond and trust that God is making Matt perfect for eternity. I am honor to follow Gods guidance and plan only to walk along. Ive seen some amazing giant killers in my day, but when it comes to Matt Goliath wants no part of him. Thats okay Matt will learn to throw his stones little further. Ready to witness another amazing year with my son.
