Proud to say, IamSMEofIndia A high level delegation comprising of the Senior most Bankers from Ethiopia are visiting Faridabad to meet FSIA & IamSMEofIndia to study and learn from the financing initiatives and services that we provide to our members Date: 12th June, 2013, Wednesday Time: 12 Noon (Followed by lunch) It seems that the delegations from developing countries are more interested in understanding the success of associations like IamSMEofIndia, acting as financial intermediaries in India. Thus again another Ethiopian delegation will be visiting India for similar exposure and to know about the success of FSIA & IamSMEofIndia. UNIDO, FAO, ILO and Government of Ethiopia are jointly implementing a programme in Ethiopia, Edible Oil Value Chain Enhancement Joint Programme, wherein one of the objectives is to enhance credit facilities and promotion of credit linked services for MSMEs by creating appropriate credit policy in Ethiopia. A group of eight senior officials from Development Bank of Ethiopia, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Bank of Abyssinia, Awash International Bank, Cooperative Bank of Oromia, Amhara Credit and Saving Institution and ILO are visiting Faridabad on 12th June 2013 to understand the innovative ways of developing and availing different financial products to the MSME sector, as provided by FSIA & IamSMEofIndia. Principle objective of the visit is to learn the various cluster based financing instruments are present in India and the collaborative mechanisms developed between FIs and institutions working on improving access to finance for MSMEs.
