I am sincerely hoping I will have the opportunity to do this. :) Attention everyone!!! The Make a Wish Foundation is DESPERATE for wish granters who live in this area! This is a great opportunity to help locals. They have NO volunteers in this area! Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions and they really need local people to help grant the wishes. Wish Granters meet with the child and his/her family to help determine the childs most heartfelt wish and then they work to plan special enhancements for the wishes. The Wish Granters will work in teams of two alongside the Make-A-Wish staff to ensure every eligible childs wish comes true! This is a great opportunity for a couple to volunteer together! The wish granter must agree to work on a minimum of two wishes per year, complete training, and submit a background check.
