Sharing from my daughter because there is no such thing as too much positive energy! From Justine Stewart: Tomorrow I will be having surgery for a cochlear implant to be done on my left ear. I am excited, nervous and the anticipation is killing me. Im not expecting any complications and its just day surgery. After a few hours recovery time, they will send me home. I wouldnt mind any thoughts, good vibes, or prayers for a speedy recovery and a good outcome. My whole hearing world is about to change and its kind of freaky to think I could hear my bird for the first time, or understand someone with their back to me, OR TALK ON A PHONE. Im ready to hear music outside of my head again, and that dreaded feeling to go away that comes every time I meet someone new. I will update every one as I am able. The operation will start around noon tomorrow. Wish me luck!
