Sharing my testimony is shameful to me, but it does glorify the - TopicsExpress

Sharing my testimony is shameful to me, but it does glorify the long-suffering mercy and grace of God. I really have shame to tell of my sin and rebellion; before repenting and serving the Lord at 23 years old. The biggest, most foolish lie of the devil is that you need to sin to have a testimony. Look at all the men in the Bible who are well beloved of God and who we look to as men of God. Has God ever exalted a man for his life of sin? All the great Characters in the Bible, were Righteous; and from their youth. Joseph, David, Daniel, just to name a few... What do you have when you sin and repent later in life? You have a testimony like Mannasseh who did wickedly and tempted and grieved God and has a testimony of abominable works before the Lord; until the later end of his life where we read that he repented; but that is all that is recorded of him. My life is so full of regrets, shame, and I hate to tell people what kind of person I was before I finally repented. Having a testimony like Mannaseh is not a good testimony. Having a testimony like mine is a shame... I hang my head in shame. I blush in shame. I am so sorry for my sin and evil before the Lord. If you want to have a good testimony; be like Joseph and keep yourself pure, or be like David and obey God (It is recorded he walked in all the ordinances and commandments of the Lord blameless; except for in the cause of Uriah the Hittite.) Live a holy and godly life from your youth; hearken unto Wisdom, and depart from evil. That is a testimony that gives God pleasure and the angels marvel and you will not hang your head down in shame as I now have so much shame and remorse and wish I had not been such a fool... I was a fool. Do you want to be a fool and have shame? Then, go sin. Do you want to wise and have honor? Obey God in your youth. Here is a video of me shamefully telling how I was a wicked fool before I came to my senses and repented at the age of 23.... shame on me for my sin; shame on me for my rebellion... shame on me for my folly; but give God glory for His mercy, His LONG-SUFFERING, and His grace. https://youtube/watch?v=GrEcCa8pXCs
