Sharing my thoughts on Brittany Maynard!! So many of us watched this tragic story from a far and perhaps not all will agree with her decision but I totally agree with her decision and feel any person should have the right to pass on their terms especially when facing such a painful and horrific death. Having watched my own father die and suffer in such horrendous pain I totally sympathize with others who want to make that difficult decision. I think Brittany at just 29 years of age was so unselfish as she said she wanted her husband to marry and have children and did not want to put her husband and family through such a terrible ordeal. I feel that by going public with her story she served as a true inspiration to others and she died on her terms in a peaceful way surrounded by love and support. Others have a right to criticize her decision and I respect their views but in my own view I think Brittany was faced with a terrible prognosis and she moved to Oregon and cherished every moment talking long walks with her husband and was a inspiration to so many and touched so many people and she her suffering is over but her legacy will live on forever!!
