Sharing status of JEFF BROWN Its difficult to let go of the pattern, often born in our childhood tendency to try to get love from a stone (neglectful parents), to be attracted to those who are impossible. Its like only the emotionally unavailable are credible because they reflect back to us what we came to believe about ourselves- that we are unworthy of love- and its like this odd illusion that if we can get the inaccessible to love us that we will finally have our parents love. The more obvious approach- that we share love with someone who can truly give it- often gets lost in the karmic shuffle. This pattern is not an easy one to break, but break-through it we must if we are going to finally surrender to the love we deserve. WE FILE OUR LIFE PLAN BEFORE COMING TO THIS PLANE VIEW We accepted the challenge before we came here, to try and awaken the grinch hearts like cindy lou who? but ... it doesnt always work like it does in the movies. yet perhaps we open them just slightly and they are then ready for their next level. and we have an inner strength, yet the task is crushing, and it is easy to fall into those questions what is wrong with me?!?. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE VIEW How about surrendering to the love that we are so we can give love without expectations. If strings are attached to the giving of love its not really love, love does not put pressure on people to return it. Giving opens up space for receiving. I am responsible for my experience. Wounds are lessons, not my identity. THE HOOPONOPONO VIEW The first step is to forgive yourself; although youve done nothing wrong, you *must* forgive yourself from the blame & bad feelings. Once youve started to do that, you can learn to love & appreciate yourself...and everything will change.... in light love forgive clear gratitude
