Sharing this again in memory of my father, Gerd Buchheim, who passed away this morning. If you didnt know my father, he was a Pastry Chef who started training at 14 in South America (after fleeing Nazi Germany). He opened Buchheim Bakery in Golf Manor in 1960 and it was around for some time under different owners. This video is from our time as the owners of Mayas in Blue Ash (1990-2003). Its a great glimpse of my parents at work. I love watching it, but today its a bit hard. Dad died peacefully this morning at 89 years old, only 2 years after retiring as Pastry Chef at the age of 87.
