Sharing this for a good friend! On the morning of January 4, 2015 Ashley Vasey passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Ashley died in her sleep early Sunday morning. She had no medical problems, and her family had no reason to worry that Ashley wouldn’t wake up the next morning. Everyone who knew Ashley can tell you that she was an amazing, sweet and funny little angel. She brought a smile to many people. You may have heard the stories of Ashley making numerous funny faces, or of her using her favorite socks to make sock puppets, or of her stealing the show during the many high school girls basketball games her father coached. One of my favorite stories is when she walked up to me with a very real looking, fake, snake. I have set up this donation site for anyone who is willing and able to assist the family. The donations will help with funeral and memorial costs, and also to start an educational savings account for her big sister Taylor. Funds raised will go directly to the family. I asked that all of you share this page as much as possible (email, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) so that anyone who is moved by this story has the opportunity to help. She leaves behind her father Tom, her mother Molly, older sister Taylor, and a very large extended family. Ashley’s face always filled a room with love, warmth, laughter and smiles.
