Sharing this great story: I have to share this with you...the world is full of good people!!! Today, while I was working my street corner for the Misericordias Candy Days...my container full of money, right as a man was adding several dollars to it...had the bottom fall out and all the money was suddenly all over the street. It was a pretty windy day - so the bills started blowing away! I was beside myself! Here I was trying to do something good...and it was blowing away! Three different men in three different cars stopped traffic...got out of their cars and ran after all those bills until I had each one in my pocket. Then they continued to block traffic so I could scoop up all the coins. No one even beaped their horns! Then About fifteen minutes later...after I had returned to my corner with a new container determined to do more good...one of those kind gentlemen drove by, beaped at me...asked me if I was OK, and then drove away with the biggest smile! There are so many good people in the world!!! I wish the news could focus on them instead of all the bad stuff!! Just wish I could thank those guys...and all the patient people for today!
