Sharks, Sitting here at home reflecting on tonight, all I can say is WOW!! I cant begin to tell you all how proud I am of our boys. I have to admit I was a little nervous about having two teams this year. I told Sarah at the beginning of the season if both teams finished 4-2 I would be happy. To watch both teams mature and start to gel as the year went bye was simply amazing. To finish strong with both teams at 5-1 far exceeds my wildest expectations. I first want to thank all you Shark parents. I know there had to be some groaning in the background when we said we were starting practices in July, but you guys hung in there and the boys practiced their donkeys off. They all did work and it paid off tonight. Second, our boys are class acts, everyone of them. As hard as they played this year, not one time did I see our boys degrade their teammates or an opposing player. Out of all we have accomplished this year, this is the thing Im the most proud of. Third, all the coaches deserve special recognition. Coach John X3 (Post, Ruter,Alexander) Coach Mark and Coach Josh. You guys did an outstanding job with the boys, and took the time to be there and teach these boys things I never could have. I am beyond blessed when it comes to parent participation and Im humbled to be part of such a great team. Looking forward to next year I dont know what will happen when our boys suit up for youth football. I dont even know what the coaching situations will be yet, but for right now, I want to enjoy tonight. I want to celebrate on Saturday, and I want tip my hat to the two best teams in Republic Flag Football. Go Sharks!!!! Coach Mike
