Sharks in Brooklyn!!! Well, theyll be in the New York Aquarium soon at Coney Island before we know it: This 57,000-square-foot building will house 500,000 gallons of water teeming with life. Once it’s complete you’ll be able to spot more than 115 species of marine wildlife, including sharks, rays, sea turtles, and thousands of schooling fish, in fully immersive and interactive exhibits. And wrapping the entire building will be a spectacular, enormous work of public art. A shimmering wall of moving panels more than 1,100 feet long will reflect the light, wind, and water of the New York coast. Heres more info.
