Sharks in WA will be given a stay of execution today, with the shark cull trial over - for now. Despite growing public and scientific opposition to their shark cull, the WA Government has applied to extend it for 3 more years! This application is being assessed by the WA EPA, and is also under consideration by the Federal Government. If the extension is approved, the drum lines will be back in the water this November. The shark cull has done enough damage - the drum lines should be removed for good.
