Sharon Kinne was a wife and young mother. On March 19th, 1960, Sharon called the police to say that her husband James had been shot. Police arrived and found 25-year-old James Kinne dead of a gunshot wound to the back of the head. Sharon said that their daughter accidentally shot James while he slept and the police believed her and ruled the death an accident. Sharon then went on to spend her husbands life insurance and bought a flashy sports car and took up with a married car salesman named Walter Jones. Sharon wanted Walter to leave his wife but he refused to, even though Sharon told him she was pregnant. Sharon then called up Walters wife, Patricia, and told her that her husband was having an affair with her sister. Patricia was taken to meet Sharon to talk about the affair further, but Patricia never made it home that evening. Police searched for Patricia the next day and Sharon even joined the search, but never found Patricia. Sharon and a male friend, John Boldizs, pulled into a lovers lane that evening and saw something in the brush. John got out and discovered that it was the body of Patricia Jones. John dropped Sharon off at her house and then went to the police. When the police found out that Sharon was with John that night, they recalled her husbands bizarre death and an arrest warrant was issued for Sharon Kinne. She was charged with 2 counts of murder, one for her husband and the other for Patricia Jones. They tried Sharon for Patricias murder first, but the trial ended in acquittal when they could not find the murder weapon, a .22 caliber pistol. They then tried Sharon for her husbands murder, but the trial ended in a hung jury twice and Sharon was free on bond pending retrial. Sharon hooked up with yet another lover, Samuel Francis Puglise, and went on vacation with him to Mexico. While there, they had gotten into an argument and Puglise left her. Sharon then met Francisco Paredes Ordonez at a bar and went back to her hotel room, where she pulled out a revolver and shot Ordonez in the chest, killing him. Sharon tried to escape from the hotel, but the gates were closed and in frustration, shot the desk clerk. He wrestled her to the ground and held her there until police arrived. She was charged with murdering Francisco Ordonez and sentenced to 10 years in a Mexican prison on November 9th, 1964. On December 7th, 1969, after serving a little over 5 years of her sentence, Sharon Kinne escaped from the Ixtapalapa womens prison and has been on the run for over 45 years. While apprehended in Mexico, police found the .22 caliber pistol that had killed Patricia Jones, but Sharon cannot be retried for her murder under double jeopardy laws. She is still wanted for the murder of her husband James. Sharon Kinne is 57, 125 lbs. and has gray eyes and blonde hair which may now be gray. She has a skin pigmentation disease and has a red port wine scar on the left side of her face. Sharon Kinne would today be 75 years old.
