Shaukat Yousazai announces names of members for management councils of four big hospitals in KP The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health Shaukat Ali Yousafazi, has announced management councils consisted of important personalities for the four big hospitals in the province, including Kheyber Teaching Hospital, Lady Reading Hosital, Hayatabad Medical Complex and Ayub Teaching Hospital. In the management council for the Khyber Teaching Hospital Major General (Retd) Tajul Haq, Professor Meher Taj Roghani, former justice of Supreme Court Mian Ajmal and senior journalist Iqbal Khattak have been included. Similarly for the Management Council of Lady Reading Hospital former chief secretary Rustam Shah Mahmand, former secretary health Salim Khan Jhagra, senior journalist and editor of the News International Rahimullah Yousafzai, Dr. Nazimuddin and prominent industrialist Muhsin Aziz have been announced. Those nominated for the Hayatabad Medical Complex management council are Sahibzad Muhammad Khalid, Shahid Hayat, Dr. Nadeem Alam, Professor Rafiullah and senior journalist and editor of daily Dawn Ismail Khan while Justice (Retd) Sardar Raza Muhammad Khan, Col. (Retd) Mustafa Jadoon, senior journalist Rashid Javed and Riaz Khan Bogar Mand will be members of the management council for Ayub Teaching Hospital. The minister health expressed gratitude to all the members of all the management councils and stated that all of them were working on high posts in their respective institutions. He said all of them were very credible personalities and with their inclusion in the management councils, performance of all the four big hospitals would be improved to a great extent. He said that would bring betterment in the provision of medical facilities as well as transparency in the purchase of equipments for those hospitals. He said by this way there would be no chance of corruption in this connection. He said for the first time those people had been included who had no affiliation with any political party and all were having good moral characters. He said betterment would be ensured in all the affairs of the health institutions, including recruitment and others. Shoukat Ali Yousafzai assured the people that the government of PTI would not tolerate any hindrance in the provision of health care facilities to them. He said that recruitment of doctors and nurses had been started and within the next two weeks free emergency service would also be started in the hospitals.
