Shawn Storm was born in a community named jungle in the south St Andrew kingston Jamaica he then moved to Waterford Portmore St Catherine by the age of 6 there he attended Waterford primary school he then passes for jose marti high school.In 2007 shawn storm campbell was introduced to the music industry by addijah vybz kartel palmer he got his first hit single in 2008 titled "ghetto youths be wise" on the remand riddim produced by addijaheim records that was shawn storm song that gave him worldwide recognition however with songs like "evil people them" produced by jam 2 and "mean it or not" produced by stephen di genius and other hits such as matie f*** produced by addijaheim/notnice records scored on the stage show level propelled the artist career to a higher level.In 2009 the artist gained momentum in his confident by starting release mix tapes all over the net and in the streets. In that same year the artist scored 3 more hit singles such as "whine up yuh body likkle lady" on the duss riddim produced by addijaheim records "mek dem mumma bawl" on the boxing day riddim "vybz party" on the street vybz riddim and produced by addijaheim records.however 2010 was the breaking point year for the singjay when he was resigned to addijaheim record label when he again came with more hits such as "this is love" on the gogo club riddim produced by russian "oh-oh" produced by notnice and the smashimg hit single "my life" on the gangsta city riddim produce by addijaheim records now this song my life was the song that put the singjay on the international scene the song went #1 in seversal countries worldwide and on several radio stations in the united states,united kingdom, canada and in africa. the song playlist on stations hot97 boston and hot97 new york for a while however it wasnt until january 2011 it went #1 in jamaica and held the #1 spot for 5 weeks on several radio stations and local video charts the song "my life" lead the dj to a couple of nominations for local awards such as the most determined artist for 2010 youth views awards and the same song got nominated as best reggae song of the year 2010 at the eme awards.2011 the artist was in full flight recording a number of songs however only a handful was released that year "real man" on the lost angel riddim produced by sounique records, "girls we love" on the nymphomaniac riddim produced by u.i.m records "merry like christmas" on the summer wave riddim produced by t.j records and a lot more that is being released over a period of months from october 2011 since the artist has been incarcerated until present. songs like "nuh fraid" "love yuh" on the nuh sell out riddim produced by russian that was released in 2012 and also "money pon me mind" produced by sounique records and "gaza nuh tek diss" on the Cosmo rid dim produced by addijaheim records and a lot more in 2012.2013 the singjay still hasnt given up on his career he is still being played on the radio and in the streets even though he has been in jail for almost 2 years now with his recent releases such as "summertime in ja" featuring black diamond on the summertime in ja riddim and "nuh tek talk" both produced by denearo u.i.m records, the latest release called trust was produced by addijaheim records this statement has been approved by management and pr lisa monroe
