Shaykh Adnan Kabbani is advising all seekers to focus on practising the teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, who has given us 40 years of Suhbahs for us to listen to, to ponder about and to act upon. This journey in Tariqah is to humble oneself, to be trained in servanthood, to performing the prescribed daily worshipping, to view oneself as the worst of creation (even below Iblis & Firaun) and to strive to know oneself. Then the door to know Allah, opens. Dont be busy fighting those who disagree with you, and dont be busy telling people about your special visions or about the praises you have received from anyone. Dont busy yourself with promoting the Shaykhs you support or with recruiting people to follow you. Busy yourself with repentance, obedience, servanthood, reflection, remembrance and service. Once you can remove the wild animals within yourself, then you will be invited to leave the stables and to enter the Palace. But if you nurture these wild creatures within yourself, then, in the grave, they will emerge to devour you to dust. So be serious about your journey, dont be distracted by what is not relevant to your safe return to Allah Almighty.
