Years more go by As they await the beast together. She, more obsessed with her fears He falls deeper in love. But he doesnt complain. He doesnt complain. And he goes to his grave With the knowledge His love was in vain. Knowing, but not saying His love was in vain. Too late, too late She knows she could have been saved. Love, peace and joy Were always there to claim. But she lived in fear With no passion or feeling. Now all that is left for her Is sorrow and shame. So much wasted time!
