She became the person who hurt her. His personality rubbed off on her without her realizing it. Shes starting to treat everybody the way he treated her. You could say that she learned how to be heartless from him. Thats what happens when youve dealt with something for so long like she did. It sort of takes over you and it changes you. Now, she isnt trying to get attached. Now, she isnt trying to develop any feelings. Now, she isnt trying to get to know anybody. Now, she isnt trying to let anybody get close to her. Now, she isnt trying to open up to anybody. Now, she isnt trying to fall in love anymore. All because of him. All because he wasnt trying to do any of those things either. All because he didnt feel the same way about her. Now, she thinks everybody shell like wont feel the same way about her, even if they actually do and shell put them trough what he put her trough so that she can keep herself from getting hurt. Her heart is still broken from what happened to her and no, it may not be fair for her to break everybody elses heart for it, but shes just lost her faith in people.
