She did more then just ask her to quiet her child, she became a nuisance and a threat to the mother. That woman is fortunate she only got punched and not shot or killed. I remember a time when Chayla was two and I had all three of my kids shopping when we lived in Dumfries. Im thinking it was at Target, but I dont remember that right now. Anyway, that meant a 4yo Jordan and 3yo Cody were also in tow. Chayla didnt like something and started screaming/whining at the top of her lungs as we exited for the van. The store was near to an ABC (liquor) store and two guys had just left that location. From across the driving lane of the parking lot one of the guys yelled at me to shut her the hell up or hed come over and kill her. Worried for the safety of my children I hurried to the van and quickly got my kids buckled into the car. Jordan was very worried and Chayla became very quiet I think she was scared because she could sense something was wrong. That was before smartphones, but I did have a cell so I called 911 and reported the guy for harassing us and driving away wildly. Turns out he was driving drunk, big surprise, and they arrested him a few streets over. I dont and wont carry, but if he had come toward my car or me with my children, I would have struck him first without hesitation with the tire iron from the van and waited for the police/ambulance to arrive. A threat to my kids safety is a threat dealt with swiftly.
