She grieved not only for his loss but for not knowing what really happened to him. No thanks to the people that should have helped her find out about the love of her lifetime, what had happened to him and where he really was. Thornberry should be beyond ashamed of himself for not even trying and basically just lying to this woman. Thank goodness for the cousin that helped this sweet Lady lay her wonders to rest with her husband and know where her husband was at so she can both go there to grieve and pay her respects I cant even imagine all of those years of wondering. She deserved to know he was a celebrated hero long before she finally did.
