She is 8 today... And i realise i work harder this year than last year, when she was 7. And last year i suffered more than the year before, and so on. I know i am getting harsher, becoming stricter to her too. My health is also not as good as before, one who has enough knowledge and awareness about himself should be able to recognise it. I realise i may not be able to control, or guide her the same way for long. All i want to give her are only few things 1. a sense of self discipline - this is for her dun go stray to bad routes 2. a strong logic thinking process to justify for her opinion, her action - so that she wont get bullied in life 3. enough life experience as input to her thinking process mentioned in 2. above - that is like start up ration for her life journey With these, i think she will be able to carry on for her life. The earlier she can move on independently, the earlier i have less thing to worry, as i know i cannot continue such hardship for long. I believe all parents, regardless of capability, race, language, and religion, do feel similar, one way or another. Being parents is the greatest responsibility in life that one cannot just simply throw away
