She is a Woman................... She is abused for going out with that man, everybody calls her a slut, and you wonder how she will get married without dating with that man she loves. She finally gets married, Everybody is blaming her for the choice she made...why that man?? Thats the guy she loved. She gets Pregnant, and becomes a public shame, however much she is married, but everyone keeps looking at her belly as if its a crime to get pregnant, In her late months when she is pregnant, she fears going to the Public gatherings, because she is a woman, She may collapse,, pipo will keep giving her space when she is passing through a crowded street, because she is a woman. Finally the day will reach, the man will give her money, some few may escort her to the hospital but many just send her alongside her maid or a female relative. The nurses and Mid wives are harsh and rude, but she will endure because its the day and she is a woman. A lot of Pain when giving birth, Besides accidents, there are few men who have ever experienced such pain and keep alive. But she will endure all the Pain, because she is a woman. When she reaches home everyone will welcome her, as if she had gone on a visit. No one knows what She was passing through, The man will declare himself a Man, a father and will even call his friends to tell them the good news. In her new Family with her baby and husband, She will act as a wife, a mother, a house maid, chef and etc but still the man will complain everyday that she doesnt work, that he is the one who has the burden of looking at the family. The man Will quarrel with her everyday, beat her every week, refuse to give her help in terms of money, Pipo will tell her to leave the man and get married to another one but she will refuse, because she doesnt want to leave her Children behind, When Children get old, its the time to enjoy the fruits of her labor, but thats not the case to some Children, the will start blaming her for not taking them to good schools, they will start demanding property from her, Some when drunk will disturb her to open for them at night and she will. Her daughters will get married and they will be spending several months without visiting her, they will complain how they are busy, they will not send any help to her, except some few grocery they go with when going to visit her after several months or even a year. Yes they are forgetting that WOMAN who looked up to them since they were still in the womb. For her sons, its different, even when sons will marry, they will remain near her, but their wives will hate her. They will complain that, that old lady is bewitching them and their children, They will quarrel with her everyday, they will stop all the help their husbands give to her, and the husbands will also stupidly stop it, she will now become a problem in her sons families. Now The old mum is suffering again. Due to old age, the MUM will be getting sick time and again, she will be informing her children but they will say she is pretending, she just wants to be over cared, sometimes she will fear to tell her children when she feels sick coz she doesnt want to annoy them. Remember thats a woman. One day that Mum will die, it will be unexpected coz she told the children and they thought she was pretending, Cold moments will feel the family, Bulls and goats will be slaughtered for Mourners who have come for burial. Speeches will be made, The daughters in-law will talk of how the Mother in-law was a good lady, her sons will talk of how they looked after her, coffin flowers will be bought But she will be no more, She will be dead Thats the Life of a woman. My fellow men, Understand the life of a woman, she passes through a lot of problems, she has a lot of pain you shouldnt add on it, And fellow Children, Lets take our responsibility to look after our Mothers, when they are old, understand them, however much she will seem annoying, but pliz remember she is old, do to her what you can and give her all the care you can afford, remember one day she will be dead, you will wish you had done everything you can to her but she will be gone, you will cry and cry but she wont hear anything Love her now and show her that you love her.
