She is first encountered in Fist of Crota, fighting against the Fallen. After sustaining some damage, she will retreat. She then attempts to destroy Rasputin in Siege of the Warmind. She fights off the Guardian, but after sustaining damage, retreats into a sealed off room and summons various Hive reinforcements to deal with the guardian, including the Might of Crota. However, these efforts prove futile as the guardian defeats all the Hive, and Omnigul flees the area, ending the attack on Rasputin. A Guardian fireteam tracks her down in the Jovian Complex and, after a long battle, defeats her.
