She is on a general antibiotic until they find out specifically what bacteria they will be up against. They took cultures in surgery and are waiting for them to grow. Currently she is on vancomycin an rocephin they they will give her a specific antibiotic for whatever bacteria they find. Monday she will go back into surgery they will remove the "dressing" and flush her back out again. Her left foot is huge! Not sure if it is the fluid but they removed the IV from that foot but port is still there. Her oxygen level dropped again but only once this afternoon. She is fine with that right now. We are curious whether or not they will bring her down to the OR to change this dressing in her back since she is still cut wide open. :(
