She tested negative for Ebola on Oct. 25. She did not, nor has the virus. But Chris Christie, a politician, issued this medical diagnosis, “There’s no question the woman is ill, the question is what is her illness.” Yeah. Shes being released back to Maine. But something more frightening just happened. Politicians used fear of Ebola to win a political campaignn. Politicians issued draconian authoritarian dictatorial decrees which imprisoned an innocent person who is by all definitions, a hero. Rule of law was suspended. We as a people are reacting from irrantional fear. We are better than that. If we continue this type of behavior with our divisive attitudes, the future looks very sad.
