She walks to the edge of camp where Balin told her Dwalin is, quietly she is preparing for him to be in a bad mood. His back is turned to her; she knows he can hear her walking up. Placing a hand gently on his shoulder, he turns to face her. “Dwalin are you alright?” she looks at his face expressionless, she is unable to tell what he is thinking or feeling. “I’ve a lot on my mind these past days, what with all the attacks we’ve had and restless nights.” He gently speaks to her. “Balin said you wished to speak to me, is this correct?” Dwalin looks taken a back at Cassaundra, she was very forward with him. “Yes, I do. I have a rather important question to ask of you and I will give you two days to think about it and give me an aswer.” Dwalin reaches for a red rose sitting on a rock with a pink ribbon tied around the stem, and hand it to her. She looks at the rose and notices the ribbon tied to the rose holds a simple silver ring. She looks up at Dwalin quite surprised. “I will await your answer in two days time.” Dwalin replies softly. Nodding her head, she turns to walk back to the company, stopping to place the rose in her bag. Not knowing what she the answer to his question will be.
