He was born a thug, raised hard by the street. He knew of no one kind and nothing for free. Toughened by circumstances, surrounded by poverty, crime and often having nothing to eat or a place to sleep as he saw fit. The street with all its freedoms and adventuressymbolized a prison. He longed for the insides of a private life. She longed for the outside world, communicating her yearning through tears each day by the window. He communicated his desires by hardening up his soul and being numb to the open dark alleys and the dark events that transpired after dark. They survived many years until they decided to live by choosing to each leave their comfort zones. Comfort is relative. Prison is a state of mind and so is freedom. Love is universal and hope is forever. Desire, however is powerful and its manifestations dependent on faith.
