Shelve this £1.6m EU history lesson Paul Nuttall of Ukip said: “This will rightly be seen as an expensive folly.” The four-storey shelving unit – which could eventually cost up to £1.6million – is to be built inside the controversial House of European History. It will house items including suitcases, TV sets and other “essential materials of Europe’s past” as part of the £82million vanity project.
