Sherdog izvestaj borbe Milan Zerjal VS Ryan Quinn MILAN ZERJAL VS. RYAN QUINN ROUND 1 Quinn comes out firing, winning the standup exchange and rocking Zerjal in the process. Quinn decides to try for the takedown, but is unsuccessful. The two battle for position along the cage, Quinn doing most of the controlling but Zerjal scores with some knees to the gut. The two come to the center of the cage, Zerjal absolutely rocks Quinn with a head kick, he then lands a pinpoint right hand that crumples Quinn to the mat. Zerjal looks for the finish, throwing tons of hammerfists hoping for a stoppage. Quinn grabbing on in desperation, but seems to have cleared the cobwebs and survived the finish. Quinn and Zerjal jostle for position along the cage, with Zerjal using his weight to keep Quinn’s back against the cage. 10-9 Zerjal. ROUND 2 Quinn putting the pressure on again to open the five minute round. The fight stalls along the cage, Quinn looking for a takedown but Zerjal using the guillotine to even the score. Quinn secures a body lock and throws his Serbian foe to the floor. Zerjal has Quinn in a headlock, putting pressure on the neck of his foe. Quinn slowly but surely makes his way to his feet. This doesn’t last too long, as the fight again hits the mat. Zerjal imploring his gameplan of keeping Quinn within range grinding him out. Zerjal loses his mouthpiece, but the referee doesn’t stop the action. The two fight in the clinch to end the second round. 10-9 Zerjal. ROUND 3 Third and final round in this lightweight clash. Both men trading kicks, Zerjal slips and Quinn pounces. Zerjal writhes around, giving up his back for a moment before muscling out and getting top position. Quinn again makes his way back to his feet, but faces relentless pressure from Zerjal, who just constantly looks for the takedown. Level change from Zerjal but it’s sprawled by Quinn. The American Top Team member throws three nice shots but then comes too close and winds up on his back. Zerjal locks in both underhooks and looks for the rear-naked choke. Quinn fights it, but there is too much time on the clock and Quinn is forced to tap out.
