Sheri and I stopped at a out of state motorcycle dealer that sold CamAM Spyders and Harleys, just to kill some time back in the first week of June. While checking out the Spyders, I noticed that they only had one Black Trike on the floor, the rest were all two wheel cycles. Salesman ask if I was interested and I told him no, not this one, as I didnt care for the black color. He started to quote prices and trade for my 2009 GoldWing Trike, and I kept telling him that the color was all wrong for me. Long story short....he kept lowering the price on the new one and my trade in price kept getting higher, until that black color began to look pretty good. So rode in on a GoldWing and rode out on a 2014 Harley TriGlide. I did want to try out the new water cooled heads and the new electronics on this Harley. My last new Harley was in 1990 and now after a few weeks I can say that while I like the Harley, it is no way a GoldWing, all ready miss the raw power of the six cylinder Honda and the storage capacity, the smoothness, however love the updated electronics, the forward foot position, the Harley rumble sound. If Honda would update their electronics to a version like the Harley, then you would have the perfect motorcycle. At least I can say I now own a Harley, for what that is worth. It will be making its first long trip shortly, already have 2500 local miles on it and the first service has been done.
