Sheriff Anderson endorses Linn Madera County Sheriff John Anderson has endorsed Oakhurst attorney David Linn in his bid to defeat District Attorney Michael Keitz in the June 3 primary election. In a prepared statement released Monday, Anderson said he supports Linn because we need a strong leader who will rebuild the office and work closely with law enforcement to ensure that justice is being served. High turnover in the DAs office and loss of our experienced prosecution team has made our jobs more challenging. Linn has also been endorsed by the Madera County Deputy Sheriffs Association and the Chowchilla Police Officers Association. Note: Linn is married to Betty Linn, publisher of the Sierra Star.
