Sheris at a 3-day meditation program... so I went alone to the Orpheum tonight to see a movie I doubt she would like anyway. I have some issues with it... still, KTM is really a very very very good story –– but equally disturbing with the message it offers on the media and government failing to do the right thing for citizens. The actual reporter on whom the story is based visited me twice when I lived in Sacramento... once to ask what I knew about my X-wifes relationship with the Reagan family, for whom she made travel arrangements –– including those for my co-worker at KXTV, Maureen Reagan and her sleaze ball of a husband, a bigtime lobbyist for the dairy industry. The second time was to explain how he found my former spouse (for barely 4-months) had been involved in the transfer of footlockers full of money to Nicaragua aboard a cruise ship. What he said was news to me... so I was unable to give him the confirmation he wanted for a rather preposterous (but probably true) story.
