Sherrell Townsend - HE THINKS I STILL CARE (Gone 5135) - September 1962 Arranger Jack Nitzsche, was not about to throw away the template he used on the controversial withdrawn Crystals single, HE HIT ME (And It Felt Like A Kiss) released in July 1962. Its no secret then where the inspiration came from for the Nitzsche arrangement on this outing a couple of months later in September 1962. But, that wasnt the last of it. Nitzsche revived the arrangement yet again at the April 1963 session with Bobby Darin for the song, NOT FOR ME.
